Facial whitening
What is it
Facial Whitening is a specific treatment for dark spots caused by an imbalance in the production of melanin in the skin. Provides a whitening effect and combats photoaging.

Indications
It is recommended for men and women aged 18 and over. When the need is identified.
Benefits
Reduces hyperpigmentation, smoothes blemishes and evens out skin tone, leaving it brighter and healthier.
Contraindications
In case of melanomas, lupus or and blooms caused by circulatory problems.
How is done
The facial whitening procedure is carried out immediately after cleansing the skin. Using exfoliation/peeling, where we remove the stratum corneum with active exfoliants, which may be: glycolic acid or retinoic acid. We proceed to whitening. Currently, there are combinations of several active ingredients for this procedure, but it is important to know that these will be used according to the skin's tolerance. White clay is generally used for whitening as a mask because it has healing, oil-absorbing and whitening properties. In the whitening process, we use electrotherapy as a more effective resource, which is ionization with a kojic acid-based product, ensuring that the product penetrates the area being worked on more effectively, giving the expected effect of lightening the stain. Whitening does not occur in just one session.
Peridity
It must be evaluated by a professional.
Care
Facial whitening uses depigmenting agents and specific techniques to soften spots on the skin of the face caused by the sun, acne, melasma or hormonal changes. Since it is a delicate area, post-procedure care is essential to ensure safety, effectiveness and uniformity of the results.
Avoid washing your face in the first 6 hours to allow the complete absorption of the whitening agents applied.
Avoid sun exposure for at least 24 hours after the treatment, and use facial sunscreen with a high SPF every day, reapplying every 3 hours if you are outdoors.
Avoid using acids, exfoliants or astringent lotions for 48 hours, as the skin will be more sensitive and susceptible to irritation.
Opt for mild soaps and cold or lukewarm water to cleanse your face during the recovery period.
Moisturize your skin with soothing, fragrance-free products to promote skin regeneration.
Do not wear makeup for the first 12 hours, allowing your skin to breathe and recover properly.
